As Chief Executive Officer, MissionPoint Health Partners and Chief Operating Officer, Ascension Care Management, Jason is responsible for the strategic, operational and cultural stewardship of the organization. Jason has led MissionPoint since its inception, helping shape its mission and vision while remaining committed to helping underserved members of the community.

Prior to joining MissionPoint, Jason served as CEO of Dispensary of Hope, the nation’s only fully licensed, charitable medication distributor working across the entire spectrum of healthcare. He’s also the former CEO of an international consulting firm that worked with clients such as FedEx, Caterpillar Financial, Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the World Bank.

Jason received his doctorate in International Leadership and Organizational Development in Low-Income Countries from Vanderbilt University, and continues to study and research advances and challenges in localizing health system delivery.

Jason lives in Nashville with his wife and son, and he enjoys running, reading and listening to vinyl records. His first job in healthcare was as a hospital administrator in Masvingo, Zimbabwe.

 

Jordan Asher, MD, MS, is Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Innovation Officer of MissionPoint Health Partners, and Chief Clinical Officer of Ascension Care Management. His roles concentrate on creating innovative models of care delivery as well as providing national thought leadership directed towards the future of healthcare. With his focus on clinical innovation and new value-based healthcare models, Jordan’s work is aimed at delivering on MissionPoint’s promise to improve the health of diverse communities across the nation.

As part of his thought leadership efforts, Jordan also writes the blog The Positive Contrarian, where he shares his thoughts on the future of healthcare, including payment and healthcare model reform.

Before joining MissionPoint, Jordan was Physician Network Executive for Saint Thomas Health in Nashville, where he led the implementation and design of physician alignment strategies. He also served as Medical Director for a large private practice, incorporating multiple specialties while practicing internal medicine specializing in hypertension.

Jordan holds an M.D. from Vanderbilt University, as well as a Master’s of Science in Medical Management from the University of Texas, Dallas and a graduate Certificate in Formation for Catholic Healthcare Ministry Leadership from the Aquinas Institute of Theology and Ascension Health. He is a member of the American College of Physician Executives and the American Society of Hypertension.

Jordan enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and sons, as well as playing golf and reading about the Civil War. He was also once a member of a hot air balloon racing team.

 

Janet Frenkel is MissionPoint’s Chief Experience Officer, overseeing all parts of our organization that touch MissionPoint’s clients and members, encompassing the Client and Member Experience and Clinical Operations teams. Janet is responsible for fostering integration, alignment and collaboration among teams to ensure all clients and members have a quality healthcare experience.

Prior to MissionPoint, Janet served as a Managing Partner with The Gallup Organization overseeing Gallup’s Management Consulting practice in the Southwest region.  Most recently, Janet served as the Chief Operating Officer for the American Council on Exercise where she spearheaded the design, development and implementation of effective growth strategies and systems supporting allied health, fitness, health and wellness partners and certified professionals globally. She is a recognized leader and speaker on issues related to leadership, vision, culture and employee engagement.

Janet received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science from Florida State University. Janet lives in Nashville and enjoys hiking, hot yoga, spending time with her two daughters, the creative arts and playing with her new puppy, Gracie.

Michael Gardner, MissionPoint’s Vice President of Business Development, is charged with growing MissionPoint’s reach and membership by working with self-insured employers, health systems, payers, government agencies and other partners to create customized solutions that address each population’s unique needs.

Previously, Michael served as Division Director of Business Operations at Baptist Hospital (now Saint Thomas Midtown). His previous experience includes risk contracting, physician network management, and administering pay-for-performance programs.

Michael is a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator, serving as a volunteer mediator for the Nashville Conflict Resolution Center, where he also serves on the Board of Directors. He’s also served on the Board of Examiners for the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence (TNCPE). Michael lives in East Nashville, and enjoys reading, travel and collecting vinyl records.

 

Nicole Provonchee is MissionPoint’s Vice President of Marketing & Communications. Nicole is charged with growing MissionPoint’s brand and overseeing key communications, guiding national press and marketing efforts as well as regional, unique initiatives that champion the positive changes MissionPoint is making daily in healthcare.

Nicole is a veteran executive with 20 years of experience in strategy and marketing, including 10 years focused on the healthcare industry. Before joining MissionPoint, her career included several leadership roles in business development and marketing, including VP of Business Development for Parthenon Publishing, Senior Manager at North Highland Consulting, and Director of Marketing for Saint Thomas Health Services and Baptist Hospital.

Nicole holds an M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee, and she lives in Nashville with her two young sons and husband. She loves reading, going to the movies and cooking homemade pasta. Nicole was part of the Olympic Torch Relay team that took the torch across the U.S. (she still has the torch).

 

Jason Clark is MissionPoint’s Vice President of Clinically Integrated Networks. His role centers on developing and managing our provider networks for all populations and products, including self-insured, Medicare Shared Savings Program, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, commercial, and federal and state-run exchanges. Jason oversees the teams responsible for provider contracting, incentive alignment, engagement, collaboration and other aspects of clinical integration.

In the past, Jason served as Executive Director of Strategy and Development for The Corner Pharmacy Holdings, an outpatient pharmacy services venture aimed at helping providers increase patient satisfaction and compliance while reducing readmissions. He also served as Director of Physician Relations for Saint Thomas Health, as well as Physician Liaison for Baptist Hospital’s Department of Medical Imaging.

Jason received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Florida. He lives with his wife just outside of Nashville and is an avid runner and triathlete.

Corrine Dennison Director of Talent Management
 

As MissionPoint’s Director of Talent Management, Corrine Dennison oversees the recruitment, orientation and training of all MissionPoint team members. She is a key part of advancing the organization’s culture of inclusion, creativity and passion, helping build a team capable of innovation that changes healthcare for the better.

Corrine’s experience as a leader in human resources and business operations includes over 20 years of experience in recruiting, training, job design and performance management. She’s held important human resources leadership roles at companies including Trinisys, PICA Group and Econotech.

Corrine received her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Arizona and she’s certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society of Human Resources Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She currently lives in Nashville with her family, and she enjoys camping, hiking and biking. Corrine also leads MissionPoint’s lunchtime yoga classes and a community yoga class, something she has done for over 16 years.
